General Summary:

The Golf Course Equipment Operator, under the supervision of the assistant Golf Course Superintendent or Foreman, performs work involving the use of large equipment, including tractors, loaders, backhoes, trucks and other golf course maintenance equipment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • The equipment operator operates all equipment associated with the maintenance department.
  • Ensures that the equipment cooling system is working at all times, refills fuel and oil daily, cleans equipment daily, and reports equipment problems and failures to the Golf Course Equipment Mechanic immediately.
  • Provides basic preventive maintenance on equipment as directed by the Golf Course Equipment Mechanic or Assistant Superintendent and is responsible for returning equipment to the designated location at the maintenance facility.
  • Attend all required SAR training.
  • Performs other related duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements:

  • Walking, standing, bending, stooping, climbing, pushing and pulling are required.
  • Subject to inside and outside weather conditions, including working in adverse weather conditions.

Job Requirements:

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Do semi-skilled grounds construction and maintenance work, operates small hand-powered equipment, and occasionally perform work involving large equipment such as tractors, loaders and gang mowers.
  • Each groundskeeper may be assigned responsibility for the care and maintenance of several designated holes on the golf course and does related work as directed and needed.

General Summary:

The Golf Course Triplex Operator will operate Triplex mowers to mow tees, collars, approaches, rough and driving range. Triplex Operators will be trained on operating fairway mowers, rough mowers, tractors, loaders, aerifying equipment, tractor mounted fertilizer spreaders, top dressers, haulers, and under the direct supervision of a certified applicator, spray equipment.

Must be able to work between 15 and 25 hours per week.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepares and cooks food and provides service as sales person in concession area and on the golf course.
  • Responsible for all advances and accountable for all cash sales.
