Spongy Moth Treatments on FDL Reservation July 10 - 12

The Minnesota Department of Agriculture will be conducting spongy moth treatments at approved locations throughout the Fond du Lac Reservation on July 10-12th to help disrupt mating populations. They will be using a pheromone-based treatment, called a “mating disruptor”, to prevent population growth of spongy moths to slow the spread. For more information about spongy moths, why they are a problem, and actions being taken to prevent further spread, please visit the invasive species page on the FDL website or go to Spongy Moth Treatments | Minnesota Department of Agriculture (state.mn.us)
